Still, to put Cassie in such a role. Sony worried how the other Outworlders would respond to that: would they see it as a slow 'taking over' of the realm, with both an Empress and heir from Earthrealm.

I know Time in Outworld is different than Earth's, but by Earth standards, we'd need..three months at the earliest."
She was by no means trying to avoid this event, she promised herself to this and she'd see it to the final step. Rather, when she said she'd be ready to move to Outworld, she didn't expect it to be as their Empress so soon.

The news media and military were never going to get along, and no matter how silent they kept things, someone there was always a line of inter realm relations in the news.
"Not like we can avoid that part, could we." Sonya didn't like the idea any more than they did. "If it takes place in Outworld, they won't be able to get their except through invitation. Nor will the conditions allow them to fill or record anything except through hand held devices; with any luck, that'll deter most reporters who'll see it as too much trouble."
There would be some to record the event, that couldn't be helped, but if they remained to the papers, that would help keep things under control.
